My Favorite Work

Ann B.

The moment Ann walks into a room, she immediately looks for the best viewpoints. Ann’s goal is always to take photographs that will grab a viewer’s eye when they’re scrolling through listings online. Ann states, “The images have to be special. The goal is to visually sell the space.”

Ann’s interest in photography began years ago when she was an interior designer. She hired a professional photographer to shoot her recently decorated condo and as she watched she thought, “Gee, I can do that!”

From then on she was hooked. Ann decided to buy her first camera, went to lectures, took classes, and practiced every day until she became one with her camera. To this day, Ann still carries a camera with her everywhere she goes.

After completing an intensive Portfolio Development class at B & H Photo, Ann was honored when her work was chosen to hang at the Soho Photo Gallery in Tribeca, New York.

Ann believes real estate and architectural photography is an important vehicle to sell homes, as long as the portrayal is accurate and the editing isn’t too overdone. With an extensive background in interior design, Ann has a unique viewpoint that separates her from other photographers. With every shot, she carefully selects the best focal point, checks the focus, and constantly asks herself, “Would I look at this image twice?”

A couple of Ann’s favorite compliments from past clients are that she puts 100% into the job and that she’s not afraid to think outside the box. When Ann isn’t shooting real estate photography, she enjoys painting, making collages, hiking, visiting museums, and spending time with friends and family.
